The San Francisco and Palo Alto offices of an international law firm representing a global wireless communications company involved in a patent infringement litigation required an initial relevance review of over 1,000,000 pages in electronic format. BLD worked with lead and co-counsel to review and tag these documents, a process which was completed in two months involving 30 document review attorneys. BLD was then asked by lead and co-counsel to review and categorize over 500,000 pages produced by the opposing side as well as 500,000 pages produced by third parties. BLD also conducted an initial privilege review for lead counsel in response to opposing side's production requests and assisted lead and co-counsel with the collection of relevant documents from all three reviews in preparation for over 40 potential deponents. Finally, BLD assisted with locating relevant documents for preparation of a trial outline utilizing the CaseMap software application. This entire project was accomplished in five (5) months time.
